Julie Mountain

I am very privileged and honoured to have been involved in the care of patients and families in Leeds for 42 years.  Having recently retired following a wide range of nursing and leadership roles I was very excited to join the team at Duchy Companionship Care with great values which totally align to my own.  I believe that you can’t care for people unless you care about people! My passion has always been to work with people to improve their experience , health and quality  of life.  I love enabling people to remain as active and independent at home as possible and supporting them to do the hobbies they enjoy.  I am kind, caring, enthusiastic, adaptable , hard working and dependable with a good sense of humour.  Being full of energy I love to support with whatever is required but particularly enjoy cooking from scratch, baking, walking – very much a dog lover, trips out, shopping or a coffee and a chat about the good old days!
